Brandon Roy

     BrandonDawayne Roy is a retired American professional basketball player whoplayed for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association.He was selected sixth in the 2006 NBA Draft, havingcompleted four years playing for the Washington Huskies. In 2009,he served as the team's co-captain, along with LaMarcus Aldridge. His nicknamewas B-Roy but he was also referred to as "The Natural"by announcer Brian Wheeler. On December 10,2011, Roy announced his retirement from basketball due toa degenerative knee condition
